Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Program Information

The Orono Basketball Association offers an instructional skills program for boys and girls in grades K-3. The season runs from November to February with skills sessions held on Saturdays. 3rd graders will have one additional practice each week and participate in a few tournaments throughout the season.
 
K-2nd Grade Program includes:
  • Weekly instructional skills sessions held on Saturdays
  • Orono Basketball Jersey
  • 27.5” basketball
 
3rd Grade Program includes:
  • Weekly instructional skills sessions held on Saturdays
  • One additional practice each week
  • Participation in a few tournaments throughout the season
  • Orono Basketball Jersey
  • 27.5” basketball

Saturday skills sessions are led Jared Bergerren & Courtney Boylan Douglass who are seasoned coach and trainers.  They have an abundance of experience working with kids here in Minnesota. 

Parent volunteer coaches will lead the 3rd grade team practices and coach in the tournaments.
