What To Bring:
- Basketball shoes and attire (tryout jersey will be handed out at check-in)
- Full water bottle
- $250 volunteer check made out ot Orono Basketball Association (reminder: families are required to fulfill one (1) shift at the Orono home tournament or the check will be cashed)
What To Expect: Jefferson Mason and his evaluation team will run a series of drills as well as conduct scrimmages to evaluate your child’s level of play. The High School Varsity Coaches, Chris Bjorgaard (Girls) and Barry Wohler (Boys) will also be onsite to support the evaluation process.
Important:
- Parents should drop off players no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the evaluation time. Parents are welcome to come in and check-in player(s) and drop off volunteer check.
- Parents are NOT allowed in tryouts.
- Parents should pick up promptly after the evaluation (please wait outside if possible).
OBBA Board Members will be on site to help make sure players are getting registered and getting to where they need to be.
